Tweed is a type of wool weave that is designed for weather resistance. Since they’re made from natural wool, each tweed product looks slightly different, which has always added to the allure.
The thick weave of tweed fabrics fend off droplets of water, making them weather resistant and suitable for informal outerwear in winters. They are used for making apparel like jackets, coats, pants, suit jackets, kilts and accessories like flat caps etc.
It is produced in a wide variery of colours and weaves like Checks, houndstooth, Stripes, Twills, Herringbone, Matty etc.
